You can change the date of a transaction. But you have to make sure that the date you change it to is within the reconciliation period. Let me guide you how you can change the date.
Once done, manually mark the transaction as Reconciled so it can be saved in QuickBooks. Here's how:
Changing the date of the bill won't affect the reconciliation as long as the date falls within the reconciliation period.
Also, I suggest seeking help from your accountant about changing the dates of your reconciled transactions. This way, he/she can give you the best advice.

I've keyed in the wrong paid date from pay bills and processed it. Now I want to go back in and change the paid date from October 4 to September 29. How do I do that?
