How do I delete transactions that are old and have not been reconciled?

Managing your transactions in the bank register is made easy with QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let's navigate to the Chart of accounts page and delete the entries one at a time. 

 

Before we start troubleshooting, it's a good idea to seek guidance from your accountant on how to handle your old data in the register. This will help maintain the integrity of your financial records and avoid any discrepancies. 

 

In case you'll have to delete them, simply follow these steps to complete the task:

 

  1. In your company, head to the Transactions menu on the left panel and choose Chart of accounts
  2. Look for the account from the list and press the View register link to see more details. 
  3. Tap the Funnel icon to filter the information of the following: Reconciliation StatusTransaction Type, and Date
  4. Click on the entry you're working on and choose Delete.
  5.  Select Yes to confirm the deletion.
