How Do I Delete/Unlink A Bank Account From Quickbooks Checking?

I'm NOT looking to unlink the bank account from Quickbooks Online, so please do not give me the same instructions as in the following article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/bank-feeds/disconnect-delete-accounts...

 

I'm looking to unlink a bank account from my Quickbooks Checking account. I was on the line for 3 hours yesterday with 4 different QB representatives who couldn't help me. I need to do this in order to link our new primary bank account to QB Checking. As you can see based on the screenshot, I've already reached the maximum number of linked accounts to my Quickbooks Checking.

I'm here to help share insights about your bank accounts linked to QuickBooks Payments in QuickBooks Online.

 

As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to delete bank account information while using the QuickBooks Checking account. And I am also unable to determine when such a feature like this is added to the program.

 

Therefore, I recommend getting in touch and letting our product developers know about this by sending a request via feedback. I'll show you how.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Profile, select Feedback.
  3. Describe how deleting a QuickBooks Checking bank account is helping your business in QuickBooks grow.
  4. Select Next.
  5. Click Skip and send message.
