How do I link my bank account when my banking password changes everytime i login desktop version

Good day to you, bherman86. For banks that require PINs or passwords, this type of connection is Direct Connect, so if you have logged in before, you'll need to re-connect. Here's how:

  1. From the Banking menu, go to Bank Feeds.
  2. Click Bank Feeds Center.
  3. Select the account you want to reconnect and enter the bank's credentials and token password.
  4.  If your bank needs to approve your application, contact them.
  5. Select the bank account you want to connect to your account in QuickBooks and ensure the account type matches your chart of accounts.
  6. After reconnecting, QuickBooks will automatically download your transactions.

Otherwise, if this is your first time enrolling, here’s how to link your bank account in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT):

  1. From the Banking menu, go to Bank Feeds.
  2. Select Set up Bank Feeds for an account.
  3. In the Enter your Bank's name field, enter and select your bank.
  4. Select the Enrollment Site link, then apply for Direct Connect.
  5. Contact your bank if approval is required and ask about unique sign-in credentials.
  6. After the enrollment, select Continue.
  7. Enter your Online Banking user ID and Password.
  8. Select Connect to connect your QuickBooks to your bank's server.
  9. Select the bank account you want to connect to your account in QuickBooks.
  10. Select Finish after the connection finishes.

Please note that quick authentication is required every time you update your transactions due to the dynamic nature of your password.
