I’m here to ensure this duplicate account will be removed in QuickBooks, @sanctuaryinspire.
Are you receiving any sort of error message? If you added the same account twice, you can disconnect one of them to resolve the issue. Follow these steps below:
- Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu. Then select the Banking tab.
- Select the tile for the bank account.
- Click the Pencil ✎ icon, then select Edit account info.
- Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox. If QuickBooks is downloading new transactions, you won't see this option. Wait a few minutes for the update to finish and try again.
- Select Save and Close.
