How do you link an Interactive Brokers account?

I have a US Interactive Brokers account which I would like to link to my QuickBooks Online account to automatically import transactions.  I would like to know how this would be possible.  Thank you.

How do you link an Interactive Brokers account?

Thank you for posting in the Community, skb74.

I understand the convenience of connecting your Interactive Brokers account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, it is currently unsupported.

I suggest sending a request to have your bank added to QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select Connect account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution.
  4. If you’re still unable to find your bank, select Request.
  5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

You can check on this link to help you connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online:

Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, here's a link to help you categorize and match bank transactions in QBO after connecting your account:
Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If you have more questions about connecting your bank account, please don't hesitate to post it here in the Community. We are here to help you. Have a nice day!
