How do you track a savings account in QB Self Employed?

Let me extend the warmest welcome for dropping by the Community, @dshryock. It's simple to track a savings account in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), and I'd be pleased to assist you.

 

You can track your savings account by navigating the Transactions page. You only need to choose the Savings account in the Account dropdown. The transactions and associated amounts in your savings account can be monitored when you categorize them in QBSE. Please see the sample screenshot below:
