How to change statement end date for quickbooks checking

Hi... my QuickBooks Online checking account statement ends on the 9th of every month. Is there any way to change that to end on the last day of every month (like every other bank on the planet)?

How to change statement end date for quickbooks checking

Greetings, @eskinpa

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. Let me share some details that will help answer your question about your QuickBooks Online Checking account statement date.

I can see how beneficial this could be for your business. However, there isn't a way to change the date. Your statement cycle begins on the day the account was approved.

Review this guide for additional information: QuickBooks Checking.

I hope this helps answer your question. I'm only a comment away if you need me again. Take care!

How about if I close the account and then reopen another one on the 1st of the month?

Thanks for your quick reply. How about if I were to close this account and then reopen another one on the 1st of the month?

I've got the information you need regarding your QB Checking account , @eskinpa.

If you really want to change the statement date, you may consider closing your account and applying for another. However, as my colleague @Candice C mentioned, your statement cycle/date begins on the day the account was approved.

Due to the varying number of days each month, please know that no statement cycle is exactly 30 days in length. If an account is approved on the 29th, 30th, or 31st, the statement cycle will start on the 1st day of the following month. This ensures consistency in statement cycles and maintains a streamlined process for our valued clients.

I'll be adding this article to help you manage your account: Learn more about QuickBooks Checking when you sign up for QuickBooks Payments.

I'm still all ears if you need further assistance managing your statement cycle/date. Tap the reply button to submit your response. Best wishes!
