Buy nowPleasure to have you here in the Community space, charisseann. Let me share some information on connecting bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Once you link your bank account with QuickBooks, it will automatically download all transactions from most banks up to 90 days, or even older, depending on the financial institution, since they're the ones who allow third-party applications to access older transactions.
To enter older transactions, you can do so by downloading a CSV file format from your bank and then uploading it manually in QuickBooks. However, let's ensure that the CSV file you're trying to upload is formatted correctly to meet QBO's requirements. Double-check the file format if it adheres to the guidelines and can be uploaded successfully.
Additionally, I've attached these articles that explain the required format for uploading a CSV file:
Moreover, you can follow the steps below on how to manually upload in QBO:
You can refer to this guide for the step-by-step instructions: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Furthermore, you can check out this article to learn how to reconcile your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements in the future: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
I'll be here if you've got additional questions regarding banking in QBO. We're always here to help. Take care.
You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
