You've come to the right place, BAM4. I'll share details to ensure all duplicated transactions are removed and get things sorted out for you.
Let's ensure you've reviewed the amounts from your opening balance and checked your bank statements. This way, we can assure that these transactions are in the correct accounts and rule out any possible errors.
To check the account from your bank statements, refer to these steps:
- Go to Bookkeeping and select Reconcile.
- From the Account dropdown, review these.
For more detailed information, you can visit this article: Fix issues for accounts you've reconciled in the past in QuickBooks Online. It contains other reconciliation fixes when you'll encounter any errors.
Additionally, if these duplicated entries are from the reconciled transactions, we can manually delete the Cleared (C) transfer transactions.
Here's how:
- Go to Accounting on the left menu and select the Chart of Accounts tab.
- Look for the bank account and click View register.
- Select the Cleared (C) transfer transaction.
- Click Delete and choose Yes to confirm the action.
Moreover, you can check out this other reconciliation reference to help your accounts accurately: Learn the reconciliation workflow in QuickBooks. It also provides detailed information if you'll want to adjust or edit a completed reconciliation.
You can always reply in the comments below if you have additional questions about duplicate transactions in QBO. We'd be glad to assist you further. Have a good one!
