What is the proper way to Manually add an upcharge percentage to a whole invoice total within QBO?

I do realize that at this time there is no way of doing it automatically without a 3rd party integration, but how can I add percentages to a total invoice for possible service overhead or other type of fees I would like to include using the total of the invoice.

Yes, QB Online invoices are very basic, to the point of being almost useless.

 

You'll need to calculate the amount to add outside of QuickBooks and then manually enter it as a line item, likely using an other charge item.
