How to get my bank account to start at July 1 2023 instead of jan 1 2024

Hi there, @letstalknowandla. I'll guide you through managing your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Are you referring to the date of the transactions to be pulled from your account while connecting it? If so, we can choose to customize it instead of choosing to start this year. If it's your first time connecting your online bank account, I'll show you how we can customize the dates with the steps below:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, and tap the Link account button.
  2. Search for the bank, and click the Continue button.
  3. Once you have chosen what account to connect, you can scroll down to the bottom to choose when QuickBooks will pull transactions.
  4. From the dropdown, select Custom, and choose the dates.
  5. Then, hit the Connect button.

Nonetheless, you'll have to upload the transactions via CSV file manually. You can check out the complete guidelines by visiting this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, you can check out these articles on categorizing your transactions and reconciling your account. Doing so will put your transactions in the correct category and avoid any discrepancies in your books:

Feel free to reply to this conversation if you require any additional help with your banking transactions. This will ensure that you receive the latest transactions in your bank feeds. I am always available to assist you. Stay well!

@letstalknowandla

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
