I'm here to help you retrieve the missing transactions from your bank.
Connecting your bank to QuickBooks Online automatically downloads the latest transactions from the last 90 days. Since you want to get the transactions from last February and March, which is beyond 90 days, you can manually upload the transactions. I'll walk you through the steps.
Here's how:
Also, I recommend checking more information to manually import transactions from your bank or credit cards into QuickBooks Online.
Then, it's time to categorize and match your transactions now that they are in QuickBooks. After you review the transactions, they will show to your accounts.
Let me know how it goes by clicking the Reply button below. I'll be around to help if you have any other questions about downloading bank transactions. Have a good one.
I am having this same issue. For some reason my bank account stopped linking in July and when I re-connected and I refreshed I am now missing end of July to end of Sept. The steps you provided do not match my screen options. Is there a way to adjust the 90 day import.
Hello there, @forerivergallery87.
I understand you need to retrieve missing data on your banking transaction in QuickBooks Online. Is that correct? I'm here to share details about this matter.
Since you mentioned that the steps you provided aren't the same on your end, I'll drop some steps from the Business view with corresponding screenshots.
1. Click the Banking menu and select Capital.
2. Hit Connect my bank then to set up a banking connection.
3. From the Banking transaction section, choose the Link Account drop-down.
4. Select Upload from the file, then follow the next screen steps provided.
Furthermore, if you are using QuickBooks Online Accountant, here's how to upload transactions manually.
Additionally, there isn't an option to adjust importing a file. As stated above, we can only import banking transactions for up to 90 days.
We can also utilize this page to verify the CSV file's format before you transfer transactions to QuickBooks Online: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
Let me know if you need more assistance when uploading transactions. I'll be right here to sort things out for you. Have a great time.
