Any specific concern? Do you need to lower your cost or else? They offer the same service level for QBO Simple Start - Plus.

I don't like Quickbooks, I find it very difficult to use.  When I noticed they have a less expensive program I thought it would make sense to change.  I bought the essentials program because I had a bookkeeper and she needed access.  Since that is not a need anymore, I'm wondering why I'm paying extra.  I don't get any support now other than through the community or online chat, which has limited access.

Welcome to the Community, @Tncklas. I'm here to provide you with steps on how you can downgrade your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription.

 

Follow along below to get this done right away:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO account as a primary or company admin.
  2. Next, select Settings and then Account and settings.
  3. Then, click the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. Ensure that your payment info is up-to-date.
  5. From the QuickBooks Online section, choose Downgrade your plan.
  6. In the Simple Start section, click Choose plan.
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to finish downgrading.
