Buy now & saveFor whatever reason, my online services shows deactivated for one of my accounts that I want to get bank feed but every time I click the "Activate online services" it does not take and I get the below message when I try to save changes because my bank was bought by another bank and the routing number is different.
Can anyone assist me with this issue please and thank you.
We're here to assist you with your banking concern, SW27.
We'll have to set up a different or another connection for the financial institution that bought your bank to activate your online services in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). We'll guide you throughout the entire process.
Since your bank was acquired by another institution, you need to link your new routing number instead of reactivating the older one. Before doing so, make sure to verify your credentials. When you're ready, follow these steps:
After enabling your new account, transfer the balances from the old one to the new one. If your latest transactions are downloaded, you can manually import the older ones to keep your account updated. You can also opt to create a journal entry to do this. But make sure to consult our accountant to assist you with the procedure.
Additionally, we recommend regularly reconciling your accounts (monthly) to effectively track your business expenditures and keep your financial data updated.

Hi Rea-M, thanks for the prompt response. I've done that but when I get to the screen where QBDT shows the accounts I want to link, my personal account is not listed. I only get two out of the three accounts I have in QBDT. It doesn't even show up on the dropdown list. That's why I thought I needed to update the routing number.
Thanks for the prompt response, SW27. We'll route you to the best help available to get your bank connectivity issue investigated.
