Connecting an external checking account is a direct and secure process in QuickBooks Online, Garoach. Follow the steps below and link your account in just a few clicks.
After connecting the external account to QBO, you can start monitoring your spending, checking, and other account balances. This feature provides a comprehensive overview of your financial transactions and helps maintain better control over your finances.
See the steps below:
- Go to Lending & banking, then select QuickBooks Checking.
- Choose Transfer and then select Transfer Money.
- Select Add a Bank. Enter your bank name, account type, and routing number.
- When you're ready to connect, press the Next button.
- Go to Lending & banking, then QuickBooks Checking.
- Pick the Verify Bank.
- Enter the two amounts deposited by QuickBooks. Choose Confirm.
Note: QuickBooks will initiate two small deposits to your account within three business days. Once you have received these deposits, please return to QuickBooks to confirm the transactions.
