I downloaded the data before the free trial ended. I just opened the file and the xls file is blank. How can I get my information with paying for a full version?

Try to sign-in to your ended trial account to redownload it. You may open a new QBSE account with recent discounted plan to proceed later.

Unfortunately, as soon as I sign it it requires me to pick a plan. No other options are there.

Allow me to chime in, @mkringgold31.

Since you no longer have the option to view the old data, I suggest contacting QuickBooks Self-Employed Support. One of them will need to take over and make the necessary actions for you to export the information you need successfully.

Here's how:

  1. Log into your account through a web browser.
  2. Select Assistant from the top bar.
  3. Ask general questions like “How much have I made this year?” or “How many business miles did I log?

For future reference, I suggest you visit the Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support article. It contains information about how to get support for the QuickBooks products.
