I had asked about changing the order of my recurring transactions but I do not want them in ascending or descending order. I'd like to mix them up. is this possible/

My recurring transactions need to be in a particular order by template name.  Not just ascending or descending with the arrow up or down.  Is this possible?

Hi there, @user44541.

Currently, recurring transactions can only be sorted alphabetically by clicking on the Template name header. It isn't possible to sort them by template name in a specific order. As a workaround, you can edit each recurring transaction and add a number before the template name to achieve your desired arrangement of the templates.

Here's how:

  1. Under the Action menu, click Edit.
  2. In your template name, add a number.
  3. Select Save template.

Afterward, you can arrange it in a specific way by clicking the Template Name header.

I'd suggest you send feedback to our team. They'll review your suggestion for future improvements.

Here's how:

  1. On the upper right corner of your QBO page, go to Settings.
  2. Under the Profile menu, select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or suggestions.
  4. Click Next.
