Welcome to the Community, KathyJoy.

Let me share information regarding reconciling an account in QuickBooks Desktop (QBO) Pro.

Yes, an offline reconciliation of your QBDT bank account is possible. However, it should be noted that the reconciliation is limited to manually entered transactions. Therefore, the reconciliation process will not include the transactions that went through your QBDT account via connecting them online.

To begin your reconciliation process, ensure to back up your company file. If you’re reconciling for the first time, review the opening balance. If you have more than one month to reconcile, reconcile each month separately, beginning with the oldest bank statement.

Then, you can follow the steps below to reconcile your transactions:

  1. Go to the Banking menu, then select Reconcile.
  2. Select the bank or credit card account you wish to reconcile in the Account field.
  3.  The Statement Date is automatically filled in. You can change it to correspond with your bank statement as necessary.
  4.  The Beginning Balance is also automatically entered by QuickBooks. This number is obtained by using the ending balance from your last reconciliation.
  5. Type in the Ending Balance based on your bank statement.
  6. Enter the Service charge and the Interest Earned based on your bank statement. You must not enter charges that have already been entered into QuickBooks.
  7. Reevaluate the fields. If the info is accurate, choose Continue or OK.

To know more about the reconciliation guidelines and steps in QBDT, refer to this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop.

Moreover, scan this article if you've encountered any discrepancies after reconciling your account in QBDT to learn how to rectify them: Fix issues when reconciling in QuickBooks Desktop.

Keep me posted if you need additional assistance in reconciling the account your account QBDT, Kathyjoy. I'll be sure to help you throughout the process. Have a great day!
