I'm connected to Etsy, which records my sales and I'm also connected to the bank account in which Etsy deposits my profits. I feel like the profits are getting duplicated showing that I made more income than I have. Any advice?

I'll help you make sure that your income in QBSE is not over stated, userjeanbeandoodles.

Since both accounts are connected in QuickBooks, you can exclude the downloaded transactions either from your bank or from Etsy. Transactions that re excluded will no longer appear in your Transactions tab and will not be counted as part of your income. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions tab.
  2. Select the account where the transaction will be excluded.
  3. Check the boxes of all duplicate transactions, then click the Exclude button.

Let me share these articles for more details about this process:

You'll also want to run a Profit and Loss report to check if your income is no longer doubled. Just go to the Reports menu and look for the report.
