I opened my QBO Account and did my business setup with my ITIN and EIN. Now it's not letting me verify it with my ITIN so I can get my payments deposited.

Afaik, opening a QB Payments account needs SSN. Are you running a B2B or B2C company?

I’m having the exact same problem. Spent two hours on the phone and had 3 employees at Quickbooks hang up on me because they got frustrated by the question and didn’t understand what an ITIN is. From what I understand, Quickbooks Online, which you need to set up a Quickbooks Payment Account and use GoPay, does not allow anyone with an ITIN/undocumented to use their products. Makes me super mad because other companies do, like Square (I’m setting up an account with them now). There’s no reason for Quickbooks not to let people use ITINs to accept sales since ITINs can be used for credit cards, credit history, taxes, etc. And it has nothing to do with payroll or being an employee. To accept sales you don’t need to be an employee, you can be an independent contractor or self-employed individual. The employee at Quickbooks told me their reason is, “Someone needs to be held responsible if a payment doesn’t go through”!!!! That makes zero sense lol since being undocumented doesn’t mean you can’t be held responsible for financial issues. She hung up on me for “putting her in a predicament.”

That’s irrelevant. I already went with Square instead due to the discrimination on the basis of immigration status.

My question is very relevant. If you are running a B2B company, you can use your ITIN to open a 3rd party payment processor to integrate with QBO.
