A pleasant day to you, Teresa. I'll help you connect Ocean First Bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before anything else, I'd like to know what specific error when you try to connect it to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
While we're waiting if there's an error, we can perform some basic banking troubleshooting steps.
First, I recommend checking your online banking account to see if there's maintenance about connecting your bank to any financial software account.
If you don't see one, let's access your QBO account via incognito or private mode. Too much cache build-up in a browser can cause unexpected behavior with the product. The reason for your bank connection issue. Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
- Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
- Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
If this works, clear the cache of your default browser. If the issue persists, you can use other supported browsers.
In case you're still unable to link your bank account, you can manually upload your bank transactions to your QBO account as a workaround. To do this, you'll need to download the entries from your bank's website in a CSV file format. Then, import these transactions once ready.
Furthermore, I've added an article that will help you ensure your QuickBooks accounts match your bank and credit card statements: Reconciliation Workflow.
Please keep me posted if you have additional questions about connecting your bank to QBO. We'll be willing to lend a hand. Keep safe, and have a good one.
