I'm here to help you rectify this connection issue.

 

Most of the time, connection and sync problems are caused by server issues or ongoing maintenance. To isolate the issue, you can sign in to your bank’s website or coordinate with their customer support to verify if everything is working on their end. 

 

If everything is looking good, you may also perform some basic troubleshooting steps to resolve this error. At times, the accumulated cache in your browser causes sync and connection issues between your bank's website and QuickBooks. Start by accessing your QBO account in a private or incognito window. Please refer to the shortcut keys I've listed below:
 

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

Once you're in, attempt to connect your bank account or download your transactions again menu. If you're able to connect without any issues, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache and cookies to start over fresh. Alternatively, you can switch to other supported browsers.

 

Alternatively, you can manually update your bank connection to get the latest available transactions. Here's how:
 

  1. Select Banking or Transactions from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Choose the appropriate bank account.
  4. Click Update.
