Import file from Excel to bank register

Hi Kileshwor Malla!

 

It's quick and easy to import bank transactions to QuickBooks Online. Let me show you!

 

Once you have the file, you can follow these steps on how to import:

  1. Go to the Banking/Transactions menu and select the Banking tab.
  2. Click the Link account dropdown, then Upload from file.
  3. Select Browse or Select files and then select the file you downloaded from your bank, then Next.
  4. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into, then Next.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Next.
  6. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Next, then Yes.
  7. Tap Let's go.

Once done, you can now categorize and match them.
