Let's get your downloaded transactions in your bank feeds, @useraztectansd. Doing so will enable us to review them and add them to the correct categories in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
First, let's check your bank's website to see if there are any ongoing maintenance issues preventing the application from automatically downloading your entries.
Once logged in, check for any updates, messages, or notifications. The message should outline any procedures you must take if you must take any action. Moreover, here are some usual messages about:
- New terms of service
- Announcements about maintenance or other site changes
- New offers
Let's also check the Banking menu to see if any transactions are stuck. These are most likely posted to the For Review section. To verify, we can adjust the filters, such as dates and transaction types.
Additionally, we can sort the dates from the transactions below to arrange them and see if the expected transactions are there.
If none, we can proceed with the manual update to trigger the application to download the latest entries. Let's follow the steps below to begin:
- In your QuickBooks Online account.
- Go to the Transactions menu and select Bank Transactions.
- From your bank feeds, tap the Update button to start updating the transactions.
On the other hand, if you prefer to upload them into your bank feeds instantly, we can manually upload them via CSV file using the steps outlined in this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Furthermore, you can check out these articles on categorizing your transactions and reconciling your account. Doing so will put your entries in the correct category and avoid any discrepancies in your books:
