Is my checking account name under my business or under my name?

Is my checking account name under my business or under my name? I am having trouble setting up my checking account info into a WIX marketplace. It seems to suggest that the account is not under the business name, but I can't tell.

Is my checking account name under my business or under my name?

Hi, MPHComedy.

To verify, are you referring to a name showing in your checking account? If so, it should be under your name, or the information may depend on your bank. You can also log in to your bank's website to verify it. If you want to make necessary changes, here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Click the tile for the bank account. Then select the Edit pencil icon.
  3. Select Edit sign-in info and then update your info as needed.

I've added this article for more details: What To Do If You Get A Bank Error or Can't Download Transactions In QuickBooks Online.

Also, QuickBooks is dependent on the data transferred by Wix. You'll want to check the integration preferences. If you want further help with WiX side, I'd recommend contacting their support center. You can ask the developer or what connector you are using.

For additional reference, please visit the following article about connecting a bank or card account: About bank or credit card subaccount setup

That should be it. Drop me a comment if you have additional questions about having trouble to set up your checking account information. I'd love to provide more help.

How do I apply for the checking in quick books

You can apply to QuickBooks Checking by going to the Banking services/Cashflow menu, @Amber0532.

If you haven't already, you must have a QuickBooks Payments account. If you don't have a QuickBooks Payments account, your QuickBooks Checking application process will include applying for QuickBooks Payments.

Here's how to sign up for QuickBooks Checking:

  1. Go to the Banking services/Cashflow menu and select QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Click Apply in minutes and follow the steps on the application.

Once you qualify for the eligibility criteria, you'll get a QuickBooks Debit Card via mail within 7-10 business days. Also, the system will allow you to connect a bank account to transfer money to and from your QuickBooks Checking account. For more information about the setup details and how to use this feature, please check this article: Use your QuickBooks Checking account.
