Is there a way to show the amount in the vendor currency?

Our reporting currency is USD but we will pay in GBP and the vendor currency is CNY. Is there a way to show all these currencies in a report or if not possible in any report, at least on the transaction level?

You can run a transaction list by vendor and customize it to show the currencies, useraccounting33.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Enter and select Transactions List by Vendor in the search field.
  3. At the upper-right, click Customize.
  4. Set the Report period and click the Change columns under Rows/Columns.
  5. Check the Currency and Foreign Amount box.
  6. Click Run report.

To guide you in customizing your reports and in handling your currencies, you can use these links:

Thank you for your reply. I apologize I was not clear with what I need. A sample transaction is we paid in GBP to a vendor with receiving bank in PHP and our reporting currency is USD. What we need is a report that will show the amount in PHP, not only in GBP and USD.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for coming back and adding a clarification, @useraccounting33.

QuickBooks supports multiple currencies to help you do business with foreign vendors, customers, or employees.

Although, the currency that will be reported in your reports are the ones you use in paying your vendors. This won't include the currency of the receiving account.

For now, you can export the report to Excel and manually add the PHP currently on it. Simply open the report, then click the Export button and select Export to Excel.

I can see how this option would be helpful for you and your business. Therefore, let me take note of this as a suggestion to improve your QuickBooks experience.
