I've checked our records and haven't seen any investigations similar to yours. That said, I'd suggest logging in to your QBO account using a private browser.
There are times when the browser store frequently accessed data, thus causing QuickBooks Online (QBO) to act weirdly. Press this shortcut key on your keyboard to open a private browser:
If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

Whrn trying to connect Shopify in QB, It says “my account does not have a permission to grant the requested access for this app. You may be able to resolve this issue by installing the app as the account owner.”
Does this mean, I need to be the COMPANY ADMIN in our Shopify Account so that syncing will now be push through?

Does this mean, all I need to do is to ask my boss to grant me an access to be the company admin in out Shopify account temporarily so after I can already sync the data?

I'd say QB Commerce Accounting has less features than the original QB Commerce (TradeGecko). I recommend our clients to use 3rd party apps instead.
