Is there any way we can add Tags in CSV file to import data? We would like to import invoices and expenses with tags on it already. Haven't been able to do so.

Thanks for dropping by the Community with your question, at this time you aren't able to add Tags to CSV files that import into QBO. This is because CSV files aren't technically QuickBooks files, they're just basic coded files. However, once you import the files you absolutely can add tags. Is this now an option to include the tag field within an import csv file for invoices?  The column header on the mapping page has the tag field as an available option; however, the Quickbook Fields column doesn't have a related tag field.  If this is now possible to import invoices with tags, what is the formatting needed?

Let me share some updates about importing invoices with tags, @craigacs. 

I can see the importance of having the option to import tags. Currently, this option is still unavailable in QuickBooks Online.

At times, we roll out enhancements based on our customer's requests. That being said, I suggest sending a recommendation to our product developers. They'll review this idea and might consider updating it in the future.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear located at the top.
2. Under Profile, click Feedback.
3. Enter your recommendation and select Next to submt.

In the meantime, you can visit our Apps store and look for a third-party app that integrates well with QBO and allow you to import transactions with tags. Otherwise, proceed to the Apps menu in your QBO account and browse for an app from there. 

Additionally, I suggedt checking our QuickBooks blog page from time to time. Here, you'll stay updated on the latest news and happenings in QuickBooks.

Can you confirm that the Invoice api allows integration with the Tag field?  Based on my research, this is not possible, meaning that there is not an app that can do this since QBO doesn't allow it.
