Thanks for reaching out to us, Alex. If you're unable to see your recent bank transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), don't worry. I'm here with you to provide tips on how we can get around the issue.

Before that, may I know what Chase account is affected? This way, we can verify on our end if there are ongoing investigations regarding the financial institution. We'd also appreciate any additional information you can provide for us to have a better picture of your concern.

If downloads appear to be slow or stuck, it's possible that the issue may be on the bank's end. We can sign in to your bank's website to check if there are ongoing maintenance or system issues. Once confirmed, we can consider manually importing transactions into QBSE.

When everything looks good, let's go back to QBSE and perform a manual update. To do that:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage Accounts.
  3. Click Refresh All.

Furthermore, we'll have to categorize bank transactions we've entered into QBSE. This way, we can put them on the correct line of your Schedule C and organize your income and expenses.

Feel free to get back to us if you need additional assistance with your bank transactions. We're always around to help you anytime. Stay safe, and have a great day ahead!

Hi that didn’t help. Two out of my chase accounts are allowing me to use them while a third I connected this morning is grayed out in the manage bank accounts section. It shows the amount from that bank account in my qbse profile but it isn’t listing transactions from that account.

We appreciate you for letting us know the result of the steps you've performed, alex-jenkins-bas. Let's perform another one to link your other Chase account.

Before we start, may I know if you encounter any errors? This is to check if we have any reported issues.

While I wait for your response, let's log in to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) via incognito mode or private browsing. These browsing sessions don't save any data and allow the program to function smoothly. Then, connect the account from there.

Here are the shortcut keys to bring up a private window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If you're able to link your Chase account via private browsing, clear the cache and cookies to optimize the browser's overall performance. Otherwise, use another supported browser to determine if the current one you're using is the issue.

Once you have all the entries recorded in your company, classify them to the correct account. This is to keep your income and expenses organized.
