Let this get sorted out , sonja9.

Error 378 means QuickBooks no longer has a connection to all of the accounts under that financial institution login. This can happen if a user removed access to the accounts on the FI website. Being unable to select all the accounts that you wanted Intuit to have permission to in the OAuth window can also cause this issue.

To fix this, we need to re-entitle the connection between QuickBooks and the bank.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Banking page.
  2. Click on the account displaying the error 378.
  3. Hit on the link that says “Sign in to [Bank Name]”
  4. Manually enter bank login credentials
  5. Select ALL ACCOUNTS needed to connect to Any QuickBooks Company.
  6. Press on Next to continue.
  7. Tick on Update to make sure transactions now download into the account.

I've also included here a link that contains some steps about fixing online banking errors for your reference: What to do if you see a bank error or bank transactions won’t download?

Thanks for responding! It's still not working, I've been trying connect Stripe and PayPal and neither are connecting. I can share screenshots if need be. Are these connections no longer working? I don't get an error for PayPal it just continuously show the connecting screen but never connects. So I eventually just click off of it.

Thanks for responding. I've been trying to add my Stripe account and getting the 378 error. It never makes it to the actual connection stage so it doesn't show up where my banks show. I've also been trying to connect PayPal but it never connects. Are these able to connect any longer?

Hey Sonya, have you seen all the other threads about not connecting?? We have all done exactly what QB support says and nothing helps. What bank are you trying to connect to?  Many of us are with Wells Fargo and have been told "they n QB's are working on it" - been an issue since 12/9/21!  Good Luck!

Joining the conversation to help with your question about adding Stripe in QBO, sonja9.

There's actually no direct integration between Stripe and QBO. Although, there are third-party apps that offer connection between Stripe and QuickBooks Online. Here's how to find them:

  1. Go to the Apps menu and proceed to the Find Apps tab.
  2. Type in "stripe" in the Search bar and press Enter. You can also click the drop-down list beside Browse category and select Sync Data.

You can also directly reach out to the app developer if you have questions about the integration.
