Why is Quickbooks online not accepting my bank transactions from my manual uploads?  I keep getting a message saying that the "Upload file isn't a valid Web Connect file",  I have never had this problem before today.

I understand how important it is to upload your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. Let me share with you some insights about uploading transactions.

 

May I know what type of file you want to upload to your QBO? QuickBooks Online will only accept QBO and CSV file formats. You can request your bank to send this kind of file or if your bank cannot provide this type of file, you can convert it into one.

 

If ever you upload the said files and you get the same error, I recommend you contact our QuickBooks Online support.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In your QBO account, select the Help icon.
  2. Choose the Assistant section.
  3. Type your concern in the Type Something field.
  4. Click Talk to a human.
  5. Click I still need a human.
  6. Click the Get help from a human.
  7. You'll be routed into the How can we help? page. Then, select callback or how you want to contact them and fill in the information.
