I'm trying to match a bank transaction to an invoice payment. The invoice was paid online and QuickBooks automatically closed the invoice. When I try to match the deposit record in the banck transaction, the corresponding invoice or payment is no longer available to match, (as it has already been closed automatically by QB when the payment was made - that's what I'm assuming, but not sure).
I'm pretty sure I used to be able to select the payment to match. Maybe somethig changed with the recent update!?
Please help.

Upon checking, we haven't received any updates or changes about the Match feature in QBO. However, if you're unable to match the bank transaction to your online invoice payment, let's review and ensure it meets the following conditions:
You can also utilize the Find Match feature to search for a matching transaction manually.
Furthermore, you can automatically match your QuickBooks Payments and bank transactions to save time and help avoid mistakes.
We'll be happy to help if you have additional banking concerns in QBO. Just leave your reply below and we'll get back to you promptly. Keep safe and have a great rest of the day.
Thank you for your response. I think I probably know what the issue is.
The following condition was not met.
Our main bank was First Republic and it got marged with Chase and all the banking transactions have been through Chase since May 28th. We failed to update the payment bank. So, QB was making desposites to First Republic, which have been re-routed Chase.
We just updated the payment bank, but it seems that it takes 3 business days. We will find out soon, but we wonder if that would allow past transactions find matches.
