There are a few reasons why this could happen, Mothersmucker.
For QuickBooks Online:
Let's try to check the causes of the missing transactions by running your Audit log and the reconciliation report. Also, refer to this article on how to view details for missing reconciled transactions.
In QuickBooks Desktop, let's run the reconciliation report and review the audit trail as well. If there are no issues, you can verify if the Hide transactions after statement's end date box at the top of the reconciliation screen checked. You'll have to remove the check mark to view the reconciled transactions.
QuickBooks Self-Employed doesn't support the reconciliation process. It could be one of the reasons why you can't see the reconciled transactions if you converted other QuickBooks product to QBSE.
You can always reach out to me if you have further concerns about reconciling. I'd be around to help!
I’ve looked for the hide reconciliation and I don’t see a tab for that. I’ve searched through qb and I don’t see any sign of where the year might be.
The Hide transactions after the statement's end date box is only found in QuickBooks Desktop, Mothersmucker.
I'll walk you through on how to look for this option. Here's how:
The Hide transactions after the statement's end date box is at the top right corner of the Reconcile screen. If this option is checked, kindly remove the check mark to view the missing reconciled transactions.
Also, you can run the reconciliation report and review the audit trail as well and check if there are missing transactions.
If you're using QuickBooks Online, there are a few reasons as to why the reconciled transactions are missing. These reasons are mentioned by my colleague @Catherine_B above. You can view the changes of the reconciliation reports in the Audit Log. This feature displays the history of the changes made to your reconciliation reports as well as the user information for each change.
Here's how to view the Audit Log:
Also, you can check the changes made to the individual reconciled transactions. To do this, please refer to the steps in running the Audit Log and locate the transactions to open it. Select More and select Audit history.
Once done, the reconcile changes are showed in the CLR column.
Feel free to post again in the Community if you have more questions. We'll be right here to answer.
There isn’t a hide button and I’ve checked the audit log and there isn’t anything showing where I reconciled transactions in intuit quickbooks.
