I'd be glad to help you deposit a paper check through a mobile check in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Firstly, make sure that you've signed up for QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Checking when trying to use mobile check deposit. Once approved, you can deposit the checks without going to the bank. Before doing so, please note the following:
Once confirmed, you can now enter your check information. Here's how:
Next, endorse your check:
After that, review and submit:
Once completed, you'll receive an email when your bank accepts your check and when your bank deposits your funds. It's also advised to write "Deposit Complete" on the front of your original check for tracking purposes and to avoid duplicate deposits. Also, keep the check for 14 days in case it's needed for verification or research. After 14 days, you can shred the check or continue to keep it for your records.
