Mobile deposit vendor category changes all the other mobile deposits to the last one used

When recording a mobile deposit and selecting the vendor category and saving it Quickbooks automatically changes all the previous mobile deposits vendor category to the one most recently used. I used several different categories for mobile deposits, is there a way to stop this from happening?

Let me guide you on how you can stop the automatic categorization of your vendor deposit, AGC23.

Once you download transactions from your bank, you can manually categorize them so they'll go into the right accounts. You'll have to make sure that bank rules weren't created so it won't automatically categorize your deposit. You double-check if one is created and delete the rule so you can manually categorize the transaction. To do so, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then select Rules.
  2. Locate the rule.
  3. Under the Actions column, click the drop-down, then choose Delete.
