My bank account has not brought in transactions since 5/3/22. when I click the update button it just keeps loading but nothing comes through.

My bank account has not brought in transactions since 5/3/22. when I click the update button it just keeps loading but nothing comes through.

Hello there, raeray1st.


I appreciate you for letting us know the steps you’ve performed on how to bring your transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO). The result will guide us on how to get them into your company. 


Since updating the online banking connection didn't resolve your concern, let’s login into your Financial Institution (FI) website to see if there’s an issue. This prevents QBO from downloading new entries.


To begin, get the URL QuickBooks uses to connect. You’ll utilize it when signing in to your bank. 


Here’s how:

 

  1. In your company, head to the Banking or Transactions menu on the left panel and choose Banking.
  2. This will take you to the list of accounts connected to bank feeds.
  3. In the Blue tile icon, click the drop-down and select your bank.
  4. Tap the Link account menu in the upper right to access the Connect an account screen.
  5. Find your bank and select it.
  6. Copy the URL listed for your Financial Institution (FI) and log in using the information.

olb url.pngIf you can sign in smoothly, it indicates there isn’t any major issue. From there, look for the following:

 

  • Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  • Search for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  • Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.
