Let’s explore how to refresh connections, troubleshoot issues, and manually import transactions if needed, Lisa.
To ensure I can provide an accurate solution, may I ask for the name of your bank institution or if you encountered any errors when trying to reconnect your account? Further information will be highly appreciated as it can help me tailor the steps to resolve the issue.
In the meantime, please check with your bank to see if they are undergoing any maintenance that can be causing connectivity issues with your QBSE account. If there isn’t any maintenance, we can proceed with troubleshooting steps for your QBSE account.
Reconnect your bank account:
- Navigate to the Settings ⚙ icon and select Bank accounts.
- Choose Connect another account.
- In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your account. QuickBooks Self-Employed will automatically download your recent bank transactions.
- Note: Avoid disconnecting your bank account, as this will delete all the transactions in your bank feed.
If the problem persists, I recommend contacting our phone support team for additional help. They are well-prepared to identify and resolve the issue, particularly given that the account has not been updated for some time.
For now, consider manually importing your bank transactions. Once done, you might want to categorize these transactions to put them on the correct line of your Schedule C.
The Community team will be on the lookout for any additional information you can provide. Let us know if there's anything else you need, and we'll be here to assist.
