Hi orangewildness,

There are possible reasons why you're unable to view your reconciliation history.

  • An accountant user undo the reconciliation or change the status of your reconciled transactions.
  • Your reconciled account is merged with another account.

You'll want to view the Audit Log to verify who made the changes. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Audit Log.
  3. Click the Filter button.
  4. Select Reconciliations under Events.
  5. Click Apply.

In QuickBooks, you can also get a snapshot of your business, please check out this article for future reference: Run Reports.

Hi there, @orangewildness.

Thank you for joining us here in the Community. I want to make sure you're able to see the reconciliation history in QuickBooks Online.

Make sure you select the exact Account, Report period, and click the small arrow located on the upper left to show the history. See the sample screenshot below for your reference:

Once verified and still unable to see the history, I suggest performing a few troubleshooting steps to get rid of the problem. First, access your account via incognito or private browser.

Use these shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Internet Explorer)
  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)

Once logged in, go back to the History by account section and customize again. If the private browser works, it means you'll need to delete temporary internet files in your regular browser. That'll remove previously-stored browsing data that might have caused the issue. Using another compatible browser is a good alternative too.

Also, you can check the Audit Log feature by going to the Gear icon. This way, you can see who made changes to your books and what they did.

Please browse this article: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks. This link guides you on how to fix any issues encountered while reconciling the account in QBO.

If you have other concerns, feel free to post again. Have a good day!

Hi.

I had 5 months of reconciliation wiped out from my Quickbooks Plus Online company account. So I had to go back and reconcile all 5 months...pain.

Not sure how that happened or why I could not restore just the reconciliations, but it did happen.
