Normally, funds reach your deposit bank account within 2-3 business days of the transaction. However, this still varies depending on the time of day you enter transactions, which financial institution you choose for transactions to deposited in, and how long it takes your bank to verify and process electronic deposits.
Approximately, the wait time for credit card payments to be transferred to your bank is 5-7 banking days, while ACH deposits may take 7-10 business days.
To check the status of processed payments, you can follow the steps below:

Hi, Home Watchers.
Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about money not being deposited into your account. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
Yea, I signed up and now quickbooks seems to be holding my 3 grand check, no way of knowing when I may get my money. She deposited on Monday, what do you think maybe next week, I did not know quickooks was going to borrow it from me for a week or two.
Hello there, @Will20001.
I'd like to ensure that you'll be able to have the payments deposited on your account.
As mentioned by my peer above, the funding time of the deposits will depend on the transaction that you've processed.
If you're unable to receive the deposit after the said time frame. It'd be best to reach out to our Customer Care Team. They have the tools that can check your account and determine the reason why the fund hasn't deposited yet.
To do that:
If you've received a payment on hold message, you'll get an email at the email address you use to sign in to the Merchant Service Center. It will give you specific steps to fix any issues. Usually, we ask for more info so we can complete our review.
Here are some links that you can check out about fixing the payment on hold status for deposits:
Lastly, for more insights about the funding time for QuickBooks Payments, you may scan through the links presented by my colleague above.
I'll continue to assist you should you need anything else with QuickBooks. Just let me know in the comments. Have a good one!
Ok, quickbooks was supposed to help me keep track, but if it takes more than five days to get paid, none of it is worth it, it's all a scam just to do exactly this, hold my money hostage, collect the interest and do nothing for me.
Kinda like Biden and his worthless VP, I regret ever signing up now.
I need that cash, I guess Quickbooks has to make money off me, but this is not good. I think me like everyone else will just op out of QB's as this is just robbery.
Well second check around and and five days later I still do not get paid, so it's not just the first check but surely the second one as well, so I can assume it will take 7-10 days to get paid now as a norm. Great, Quickbooks figured the way to make money off me and you, just hold our money for a few days and collect interest. Genuise
The customer card is charged via autopayments by QB but the money is not going to my account, not showing in merchant account and I am not able to stop the autopayments. Technical support is unable to solve the issue.
Customers bank recommended to change the bank card. Mu customer is refusing to do so since all of his payments school loans etc. are charged to this card.
Hi there, zjkono.
I know that getting payments from customers is essential since it keeps your records accurate. That's why we have to make sure payments are deposited in your bank account.
Please know that QuickBooks puts the money in your bank account. It uses the bank account you picked when you signed up for QuickBooks Payments.
If you process payments before 3 pm PT, they should be in your bank account in 2 business days. If you process them after 3 pm PT, we'll start the deposit the following business day. Please browse this page to learn how to check the deposit: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
For Technical Support, they're available from M-F 6 AM to 6 PM PT. You may need to check with them during their support hour. They can help trace the funds for you. Here's how to chat with them: Contact Payments.
I can also provide the steps on how to cancel the Autopay. You and the customer can perform this process on recurring invoices with the pause or delete actions. Here’s how:
Your customer selects the Manage payment link in the autopay confirmation email. After they sign in to their Intuit account, they can select Cancel autopay. Individual payments can’t be canceled.
If you didn't receive the payment on a scheduled deposit time, there could be something wrong with the transaction. Please browse this article: Learn how to set up automatic payments for recurring invoices. Then, scroll down to the bottom to get an answer to common questions.
Stay in touch with me if there's anything else I can help with checking the deposit. I'll be right here whenever you have follow-up questions.
