I’d be happy to help you and update your deposit date in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account, @lynnaeburns.
We can exclude the deposit and manually add a backdated transaction. (eg 2020). Let me show you how.
- Go to the Transactions menu.
- Find the transaction you want to exclude and select it to expand the view.
- Click the Exclude this transaction checkbox.
- Select Save.

- Then click Add transaction.
- Enter the date backdated to December 2020.
- Select Business as type and Income as a category.
- Then click Save when done.
