Not all of my banking transactions are loading to quickbooks

Hey there, blake-phillipsel. I can assist you in entering your missing bank transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Some banks only download transactions made within the last 90 days or one year on the first download. Transactions made beyond that period aren't included in the automatic download.

For now, you can manually upload your old transactions in any of the allowed formats: .CSV, .QFX, .QBO, .OFX, or .TXT. Here's how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, then Transactions.
  2. Under the Bank transactions tab, click the dropdown menu near the Link account button.
  3. Select Upload from file.
  4. Choose between Drag and drop or select files and pick the file you downloaded from your bank. Then click Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account to which you want to upload the transactions. Then hit Continue.
  6. Follow the on-screen steps to match your file's columns with the corresponding QBO fields. Then select Continue.
  7. Pick the transactions you'd like to import. Then choose Continue.
  8. Tap on the Yes button.
  9. Hit Done to finalize your transactions.

Once you've completed the steps, you can use these articles to guide you through categorizing transactions and reconciling accounts:

@blake-phillipsel

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools with a one time license (e.g csv2qbo @ $60) as a workaround.
