I am using QB Desktop for Mac. Every time I go into one of my banking registers, only 50 rows show and I have to manually select 300. The next time I open QB, the setting has returned to 50. How can I set permanently the registers to display 300?

It's good to see you here, @markrougeux. I can share some insights about rows showing in the bank register.

In QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, the default number of rows is 50 when opening the registers. To set it up as 300, you'll need to manually select the quantity.

I've also added this QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2021 User’s Guide to help you learn and manage your account in QuickBooks.

Additionally, read how to create or edit a renaming rule for payee names. This is used for QuickBooks to rename the transactions you download with the conditions you set.

Feel at ease to comment down below if you have further concerns with banking in QuickBooks. I'll get back to you right away. Have a wonderful day.

Hello, did you ever find out how to permanently increase the rows displayed to 300?  I'm having the same issue having to change it every time.

Thanks for joining this thread, Ann.

I recognize having the option to permanently view your bank register to 300 rows can seamlessly aid you in running your business. Currently, this feature isn't feasible in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac.

As a way around, you can look for a third-party app that lets you set up your bank register to 300 rows. You can visit our Apps for QuickBooks Desktop page for reference and browse for an app from there. Once you've found one, click it and select Get app now to link it to your Mac platform.

Additionally, you'll want to submit your feedback to our Product Developer team. This way, they can review and consider adding it in the future updates. You can refer to page 280 in this link for the detailed steps: QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2021 User’s Guide

You can also view page 180 from the resource above for future reference. It contains tips and tricks on how to efficiently reconcile your accounts in QBDT for Mac.

Know that I'm always here whenever you need more help with your bank register. You can also add in your reply if you have other QuickBooks concerns. Keeping you on the right track is my number one priority.
