On Bank Deposit screen, I no longer can type in the Account nbr in "Add funds to this deposit", I have to click thru "See and add more categories" How do I get this back?

One of my companies updated yesterday. Today every line in my deposit takes 5 extra clicks. I type in account number and a drop down box says No matching categories. I have to click see and add more categories. Then I have to type my account again and then click it and hit the select button. After an hour with Quickbooks, its an update..........what the heck..........

Some users have reported that they are unable to enter a category in the Bank Deposit screen's Account field. Our engineers are working towards providing a permanent solution to get this function working back to normal. 

 

Alternatively, select the See and add more categories option to add the transaction's account. I also recommend that you sign up for the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive email updates about the investigation.

 

However, the process requires us to gather personal data. For security reasons, you can contact our QuickBooks Online (QBO) Care Team for further assistance.
 

Here's how:

 

  1. In your company, head to the Help icon in the upper right to display the support window.
  2. Choose the Assistant tab and then enter a brief description of your concern in the Type something field.
  3. Click the Get help from a human link and type a phrase or keyword in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. Press the Continue button to view the support options.
  5. From there, pick Chat to start a conversation and Callback to speak with an agent.
  6. Provide this number to expedite the process: INV-76562.
