Hi,
I'm using QB Desktop Pro 2018 R14.
In the Reminders windows, under Business Service Messages, I see "Online Banking transactions ready to send."
When I double-click on the message, nothing happens.
I do not use or subscribe to online banking.
How do I get rid of this reminder message?

Thank you for checking the preferences that my colleague suggested. I see in my QuickBooks that I have pulled up I have the same error. This is a reminder to all customers that an update needs to complete to ensure the best performance with the banking feature. Go into the reminders and double click the error, and you will see a prompt to restart now. The update needs to be complete to have this error go away (even if you're not using banking in QuickBooks).
If nothing happens when you double click the error, you can manually update QuickBooks. Go to the Help menu and then Update QuickBooks Desktop.

I was not writing about the error; I didn't even know that the red exclamation mark indicated an error, as no error message was displayed. Nonetheless, I applied updates and now there is no longer a red exclamation mark. However that did not resolve the issue that a reminder is displaying about a service I do not user (online banking). How do I get rid of this reminder?

I have this same issue. It has been happening for years now with several versions of Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus. There are no Outgoing Pending Transactions. I can disable/reenable bank feeds and it will go away until I send another payment. I have tried repairing my file and that did not resolve the issue. I have tried refreshing from both the Bank Feeds menu and the Reminder window.
