P&L Report

Hello, @Anu 3500. Congratulations on putting up a restaurant in different locations. I'm glad to share ways to include all your bank accounts in the Profit and loss report.

Since you have businesses located in different areas, using the Location tracking feature is a great idea. It can help us filter the Profit and Loss report by location to see each bank's performance. You can customize it to show various locations and banks associated with the customer, vendor, employee, product/service, and class.

To proceed, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and search for Profit and Loss by Location Report.
  2. Select the Customize button.
  3. Navigate to Columns to pick Location or Filter the Location to show a specific one while choosing a different Distribution Account.

If you haven't assigned transactions to locations, the report will not display them. Please know that this excludes payment entries. For the complete process, refer to this guide: Run a Profit and Loss report by bank account in QuickBooks Online.

I'm adding these links to guide you with modifying reports and saving their current settings so you won't have to make the same customization:

These instructions should help you generate your Profit and Loss report by location designated to a bank. I can provide what else you can do with this report. Just post an additional comment here. Goodbye for now.
