I know ways you can connect your credit card in QuickBooks Online (QBO), antwanfsr. I'll guide you through the process.
Your credit card might have multiple names on our list, doesn't connect to all types of accounts, or is not a participating financial institution. That could be why you encountered issues linking it to QBO.
Have you searched for your financial institution using its URL by visiting the Connect an account page? If you haven't already, I'd recommend doing so to ensure you're using the correct listing and that you'll be connecting to the right account. Here's how:
- Go to the Transactions menu and select Bank transactions.
- If this is the first bank account you’ve set up, select Connect account. Or select Link account if you already created one.
- In the Connect an account page's search field, enter your credit card's URL.
- Hit the Enter key.
- When your credit card appears on the list, select it and follow the on-screen steps to connect your credit card account.
On the other hand, if your bank has multiple names or has different types of accounts but chooses only to release one website for connection to QuickBooks, you can use other listed versions. To do this, please see Step 2 in this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking in QuickBooks Online.
Furthermore, I'd recommend regularly reconciling your accounts (monthly) to effectively track your business revenue and keep your financial data updated.
