QB Merchant Account

QB Merchant account delays depositing my payments 3-5 business days after QB receives them.

Are there QB Online users who invoice their clients outside of QB and have ACH payments go directly to their business bank account?  I'm considering canceling my QB merchant account to avoid the 3-5 delay.

Thanks.

Hello there, Michael. I understand that the delayed deposit in your QuickBooks Payments may have caused inconvenience to you. Let me share some details about the process.

We're committed to safeguarding the interests of all parties involved in the payment process, which causes some delays. QuickBooks Payments combines all your credit card sales and deposits them as a single batch. Your batch deposit depends on your deposit speed.

This delay may occur if the transactions are from previous sales you have deposited in your bank or if their total amount exceeds the threshold for your business. The total return, refund, or credit in a single deposit shouldn't be more than $100.

If you've already checked the payment status and we've deposited the payments, your money is on its way. However, some banks may hold onto the funds after we deposit them. In such cases, you may contact your bank and follow their procedures.

I'd also suggest contacting our QuickBooks Payment Support Team, as they possess the expertise to address your concerns. You can also get an instant deposit that requests funds into your bank account in less than 30 minutes. You may also schedule instant deposits to run automatically.

Furthermore, you can change the bank account that QuickBooks deposits payments into every time you process credit card and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.

Please feel free to ask questions or concerns about the deposit process for QuickBooks payments. I'm here to assist you. Stay safe.
