We appreciate the detailed information you've shared regarding your QuickBooks Online (QBO) records and the transactions in your bank feeds, Allison.
When matching the transactions, it's best to verify if the downloaded bank transactions contain the same bank account as the one in the bank register and ensure it has not been reconciled.
If everything is correct, we can use a private browser to rule out any browsing history or cached files causing the problem. Here are the shortcut keys for accessing private browsers:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
If issues persist, it's best to contact our QBO Accountant support so they can dig deeper into why this is happening on your end. In the meantime, let's recreate the transactions so this will show on your bank feed as suggested matches.
Here's how:
- Go to the +New, and choose your transaction.
- Fill out the necessary details in the selected entry.
- Once done reviewing, click Save and Close.
- Press the Transactions menu from the left navigational panel, then choose Bank Transactions.
- From the For Review tab, scroll down and locate any suggested matches.
- Press the transaction to see the details.
- Click Match if it's correct.
After categorizing your transactions, you may want to reconcile your account so they always match your bank and credit card statements.
Feel free to notify us if you have additional concerns as you've followed the steps above, Allison. We're still here to help you.
