I'm using Quickbooks Online. I've confirmed all credit card transactions have downloaded from the AmEx CC sync. After categorizing all my transactions, my card balance and QB balance doesn't match.
When I export the bank registry transactions and compare with the categorized banking transactions, I notice 3 CC payments are missing in the bank registry, yet are showing on in the categorized banking tab.
What should I do to resolve this? Why would categorized transactions be missing from the bank registry?

I've got the help that you need in finding the three missing bank entries on your register.
Let's make sure that you pull up the right date of your transactions. This can be the reason they're not showing up in the register.
To do that:
If the problem continues, I recommend undoing the categorized transaction from the banking page and add them again.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to me. I did "Undo" the transactions and recategorized them, and that seems to have worked.
I tracked why my account won't balance and its because a credit card refund credit keeps adding a debt line. When I attempt to delete the debt entry from the registry it removes the accurate credit entry.
I've tried this with downloaded transaction. I even excluded those transactions and created a new credit card credit entry and the duplicate entries occur in the registry still.
Is this a known issue? I don't know what else to try.

User error! I figured it out. I was refunding the CC itself and not the category of the charge.

Hi there, My transactions do show up in the Bank register and also when I check them through Chart of accounts. But When I check in "Categorised" those transactions don't appear there!! Would you please be able to help me out !! I have to match my bank's closing balance with my original pdf bank statement.

Thank you so much for letting us know about this!! I thought I'd need to import the transaction again or something time consuming! Hitting the Undo, finding it in For Review and hitting Add did the trick!!! Thank you, thank you!!
